As you can see, the pictures below are broken. The guy that owns the server I have my pictures on changed the gallery software so now all the images don't work. Here is a link to my galleries if you want to hunt and search for the images yourself. Hopefully he'll get it straightened out so that they all work properly again. In other news, I got my 1 GB memory stick for my camera last week. Yay for 400+ 5MP pictures on one stick. My old 256 MB card took a crap on me earlier in the month so instead of replacing it, I spent a few bucks more and bought a big stick. I'm still not happy with the 5MP pictures my camera takes. They're slightly grainy. It takes pretty awesome macros though. I so badly want a digital SLR but that won't happen for awhile unless I happen to win the lottery (odds are slim since I don't play it).

This past weekend we went to a BBQ at a friend's place and then a car show on Sunday. We were late getting to the show so I didn't get many pictures and it threatened to rain so I'm not sure many cars were there to begin with. Pictures of both events are at the link at the top.

My wagon is somewhat down for the count right now. The rear brakes are completely shot (even though the guy I bought it from said they were good). The transmission has always had a small leak like I mentioned below but now it's getting pretty severe. I won't have a chance to work on it until this coming weekend. At that time, I can look and see if the engine can accept a pilot bearing. If not, I'm stuck with trying to find another transmission.

Normally I don't care for shows like American Idol and other reality shows but lately I've been watching America's Got Talent with my wife. But....the same night has a show called "Rockstar". The band is called Supernova and consists of Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted and Gilby Clarke. Most of the people on the show are alright but one contestant really stands out. Her name is Dilana. She's originally from South Africa and has an awesome voice. She's covered in tattoos, has a lot of piercings and has a lot of pink hair but somehow still remains attractive. I've downloaded all of her performances from the show and I'm finding other studio releases as well. I highly recommend checking her out if you don't watch the show. Her website is here. I hate to link to it since Myspace sucks but you can listen to some of her music here. She does a version of Britney Spears' "Hit Me Baby" that's sooooo much better than the original.

Well, it's been awhile since I last updated this thing. A few things have happened since March:

I sold my beloved Neon and bought a cheaper car, both value-wise and insurance-wise. It's an '89 Caprice wagon. I'm going to miss the reliability and mileage of the Neon but I've put nearly 5000 kms on this car so far with no problems. The front seal needs to be changed in the transmission but a friend of mine got the idea in my head to do a 4-speed conversion so I think that'll be the route I'll go since the automatic needs to come out to do the seal anyway.





I arrived back in the US again on May 25th. On the Saturday following that, we attended a good friend's wedding. It was very nice. Pictures are here.

Another bit of news is that I got married on June 10th. It was a good time. Pretty much all of my friends from Saskatchewan made it. Most of my mom's family made it. None of my dad's family did. The day went by really quick. There's some pictures here but be warned: there's over 700.
